Common questions

Is it really free?

Yes. All groups, MyAOG and our programs are free. Donations and Sustaining Membership are always optional.

Do I need a diagnosis?

No. Self-identification is welcome everywhere at AOG.

Can I just listen?

Yes. Cameras, microphones and chat are always optional. Many people just listen.

What’s the difference between MyAOG and Sustaining Membership?

MyAOG is a free account for our online community. Sustaining Membership is optional monthly or yearly financial support for AOG. You can have either, both, or neither.

Who are the groups for?

Adults 18 and over. Our spaces are built by Autistic people, and everyone who follows our Community Guidelines is welcome. Identity groups, like the Women’s, Men’s, Queer and BIPOC groups, are for people who share that identity.
