Doing it our way
About Autism On the Go (AOG)
Autism On the Go (AOG) is a nonprofit by and for autistic and neurodivergent adults, dedicated to building community, connection, and opportunity on our own terms. We create spaces where people can belong, grow, and show up as they are — without judgment, gatekeeping, or diagnosis requirements.
As a community-designed initiative of the Neurodivergent Advocacy and Resource Group (a 501(c)(3) nonprofit), we foster connection, peer leadership, advocacy, and joy — and we invite you to be part of it.

Our mission is to create opportunities for neurodivergent people by providing comprehensive community support, fostering social, emotional, and professional growth, and advocating for inclusive policies.
We strive to create a society where neurodiversity is not only accepted but celebrated, ensuring every person has the opportunity to thrive and contribute meaningfully.
We envision a world where neurodivergent people are fully integrated and respected within their communities. Through our community support initiatives, educational programs, leadership opportunities, financial assistance, and policy advocacy, we aim to build an inclusive society that recognizes and values the unique strengths of every person.
Our commitment is to drive systemic change, enhance understanding, and create environments where neurodivergent people can choose to become their best selves and live their best lives.
We are guided by a clear set of values that shape how we build community, design programs, make decisions, and show up for one another. These values reflect who we are, how we work, and the kind of world we are actively building—together.
- Built by us, not just for us
- Person‑first, dignity‑centered care
- Neurosensitive design that works for everyone
- Leadership in many forms
- Choice, consent, and transparency
- Non‑punitive, non‑carceral approaches
- Systems change over individual blame
- Building the world we want to live in
Meet the Team
At Autism On the Go, leadership is community. Our board is made up entirely of Autistic, neurodivergent, and spectrum-identifying individuals—because we believe lived experience leads the way. Together, we work to break down stigma, champion inclusion, and create spaces where neurodivergent voices are heard and valued.

Autism On the Go is built on respect, safety, and inclusion. Our Community Guidelines help ensure that all members—whether Autistic, neurodivergent, or allies—feel welcome and supported. These guidelines reflect our shared values and outline how we create positive spaces together.

We wouldn't be here without the incredible individuals who believed in our mission from the start. The AOG Founder's Wall honors our earliest supporters—those who helped us launch and grow a community where neurodivergent voices lead.
