A New Way to Stay Connected with AOG
Autism On the Go has always been about connection, community, and creating spaces where people can show up as themselves. As AOG continues to grow, we’ve been thinking about better ways to share what’s happening across the community.
That’s why we’re introducing something new:
The QuirkBoard is AOG’s new live updates hub — a place where you can see what’s happening across AOG all in one place.
Instead of waiting for a monthly newsletter, the QuirkBoard allows us to share updates as they happen.
That means more timely announcements, more community stories, and more ways to stay connected.
Why We’re Making This Change
Our previous newsletter, The Quirk Alert, served us well. But as AOG has grown, we’ve found that a monthly format no longer reflects how dynamic our community has become.
Things are happening across AOG all the time:
- New groups launching
- Community stories emerging
- Events and opportunities appearing
- New ideas taking shape
- Conversations growing
We didn’t want to wait weeks to share those things anymore.
The QuirkBoard allows us to share updates when they happen, so you can stay connected in real time.
What You’ll Find on the QuirkBoard
The QuirkBoard will feature a variety of updates from across AOG, including:

Some posts will be quick updates. Others may be longer stories or reflections. Over time, the QuirkBoard will become a living snapshot of the AOG community as it grows.
What This Means for Quirk Alert
The QuirkBoard is replacing the traditional Quirk Alert newsletter format — but that doesn’t mean emails are going away.
Instead, we’ll use emails to highlight what’s new on the QuirkBoard and help guide people to recent updates.
This allows us to:
- Share updates more frequently
- Keep emails shorter and easier to read
- Create a living archive of AOG activity
- Make it easier to find past updates
It’s a small shift — but one that helps us grow more naturally as a community.
