We’re excited to welcome Nasiah Acosta as the new moderator of AOG’s Women’s Group beginning in October!
Nasiah uses any pronouns, and their special interests include magical girls and psychology. The opportunity to support others and give back to the community is what inspired Nasiah to take on this new role.
“I try to live my life as if I am a magical girl,” Nasiah shared, “so when I have a chance to help others, I take it.”
Nasiah believes spaces centered around specific and intersectional identities—including the experience of being an Autistic woman—are deeply important. After generations of exclusion and discrimination, these spaces give people opportunities to be heard, uplifted, and understood.
“There is such magic in finding community.”
As moderator, Nasiah hopes to create a Women’s Group that feels warm, welcoming, inclusive, and magical. They want participants to feel safe, have fun, and experience the magic that can come from connecting with other Autistic women. Nasiah also welcomes feedback and intends to remain flexible so the group can grow around what its members need.
Nasiah is especially looking forward to meeting new people, building connections, and growing alongside the community. We’re grateful that she has chosen to share her time, care, and enthusiasm with AOG—and we hope you’ll join us in giving her a warm welcome!

AOG’s Women’s Group is a virtual peer-led space for Autistic and neurodivergent adult women to connect, talk, and spend time in community.
