In this session, we define advocacy and self-advocacy, explore inclusive communication (vocal and non-vocal), and show how word choice shapes identity and opportunity.
We move from awareness → acceptance → inclusion with practical guidance on asking, listening, and avoiding “othering,” grounded in the idea that supports and accommodations are for everyone.
