This presentation is a story-based, emotionally honest fable about Nova, a tiny spark trying to find community without having to shrink, perform, or explode. Nova first tries to match a gentle candle’s steady flame (and burns out from holding back), then tries a chaotic fireworks shop (where one flicker becomes “too much”), then retreats into isolation (where the light slowly fades).
Ultimately, Nova finds a “cosmic family” where different kinds of light are welcomed—steady, pulsing, blazing, quiet—and learns to pace energy without shame. Content note: this story includes themes of not belonging, sadness, anger, and other big emotions.
Participants are encouraged to take breaks and engage with care. This is ideal for groups exploring identity, burnout, masking, belonging, and supportive community culture through metaphor and reflection.
