This training uses a simple “termite infestation” metaphor: you usually see the signs before you see the termites, and stopping the damage early is always better.
We define fascism in plain language, explain how it starts small and grows through scapegoating and fear, and focus on practical warning signs (attacks on free speech, intimidation at rallies, restricting voting, targeting minority rights, “only I can fix it” messaging).
Participants leave with prevention and early-detection strategies, do/don’t guidance for safe response, and real-life scenarios to practice recognizing signs and choosing safer actions together.
This training is free for anyone to use, share, or teach. It was created independently (not grant-funded) for education and community safety.
