📊 Early AOG Community Data: A Strong Start

We’ve recently begun collecting optional survey and participation data across AOG spaces so we can better understand what’s happening inside the community we’re building together.

Over 600 people have attended our group spaces just this calendar year, and even with this early snapshot, the results are already pretty remarkable.

Across our first 31 survey responses, we’re seeing extremely strong signals of connection, value, and ongoing participation.

👥 A Community People Keep Coming Back To

One of the first things we noticed:

More than half of respondents say they regularly attend AOG groups.

  • 56% regularly attend
  • 39% have attended multiple times
  • A small number were first-time visitors

That means the overwhelming majority of participants aren’t just trying AOG once — they’re coming back.

For a community space, that’s one of the strongest indicators that something meaningful is happening.

⭐ People Say It’s Worth Their Time

When asked whether attending an AOG group was worth their time:

Over 90% said yes.

That’s an exceptionally strong signal for any community program.

In fact, only a very small number of respondents selected “maybe” or “no,” meaning the vast majority of participants feel the time they spend in AOG spaces is valuable.

🤝 Connection Is Nearly Universal

Perhaps the most exciting result came from the question about community.

When asked whether they felt a sense of connection or belonging in the space:

Nearly 97% said yes.

That’s about as close to universal agreement as you can get in a voluntary survey.

For a community built around conversation, peer support, and shared experience, this is one of the most encouraging signals we could hope to see.

🌱 People Leave Feeling More Supported

We also asked whether attending a group helped participants feel steadier or more supported afterward.

Again, the result was striking:

Over 90% said yes.

That means the vast majority of participants leave AOG spaces feeling better supported than when they arrived.

And that has always been the goal.

Not perfection.
Not pressure.

Just people helping each other carry things a little more easily.

🚀 Just the Beginning

It’s important to remember that this is very early data.

We’ve only recently begun tracking participation and gathering feedback, and this snapshot represents just a portion of the community.

But even in this early stage, the signals are clear:

  • People are coming back
  • People are finding connection
  • People are leaving feeling supported

That’s exactly the kind of community AOG was created to build.

And now we get to watch it grow.
