This presentation uses a short, accessible fable to explore what happens when people are placed in environments that do not fit how they move, think, or exist.
Through the story of a basketball forced to live in a world designed for spinning tops, the session invites reflection on belonging, accommodation, masking, and the quiet harm of “almost fitting.”
Rather than focusing on fixing the individual, the story reframes the problem as one of environment and design, encouraging participants to seek out, build, or advocate for spaces where they can spin freely and sustainably.
